What is Persnickety Living?
Persnickety Living is a blog about food, travel, and lifestyle with a focus on mindfully making your life better one step at a time.
Who am I?
I am a global citizen, traveler, vegan foodie, and blogger. My goal is to slowly incorporate mindful changes into my life to be more sustainable. Because, you know, there is no ‘planet B’. And although I enjoy life’s comforts, I am also budget conscious. I am definitely learning as I go and would like to share my experiences with you. I’m not perfect, and I don’t expect you to be either.
Why do I write this blog?
I am here to encourage you and give you some ideas of how you can be more sustainable, too. That is to say, I want to give you options for a better life and world without a “don’t do this!– don’t do that!” atmosphere. No one needs that!
There’s a lot of information out there, and it’s difficult to wade through it all. Therefore, I want to give you a welcoming place to share ideas that inspire. I know it’s not easy being “green” in this plastic-filled world, but if we make conscious steps, however small, we can all make a difference.
What will you see on Persnickety Living?
I want to deliver information and ideas about daily life and travel that are easy to implement. Additionally, I want to support your efforts and encourage those baby steps toward a more sustainable lifestyle. Best of all, you can live well while being eco-friendly at the same time.
Above all else, remember that it won’t happen overnight, and it’s OK to gradually make changes. Take it in baby steps and know that you ARE making a difference.
